Using inspiration from nature and traditional Eastern Asian forms to produce a unique and tranquil ramen bar that invites the user into the seemingly small and tight site. Stepping down into the main seating area creates a feeling of being grounded and safe, with flowing water and ponds when possible to create the sound of flowing water which is attributed to a mindset of ease and calming characteristics. The bar has an emphasis on lighting and creating a warm glow throughout the site. Light screening techniques border the walking path in order to still allow for glimpses into and out of the site while still creating a barrier in order to prevent the users from an uneasy feeling of being looked down on while enjoying their meal.
