Center for Heritage Arts
Architectural Concept
The Center of Heritage Arts in Los Angeles draws inspiration from the process of sculpting clay, using the material’s tactile, formative qualities to shape both the building’s massing and its architectural details. The project explores how ceramic traditions can inform contemporary design, culminating in studies of façade tiles, custom lighting, and louver systems that echo the rhythm, texture, and craftsmanship of hand-worked clay. Together, these elements create a cultural hub that celebrates heritage arts through both program and architectural expression.
