Wall Clock
Perch Clock is a double-sided wall clock designed around a simple idea: make an everyday object feel unexpectedly considered. I designed the product, developed the mechanical and digital fabrication systems, built the prototypes, managed manufacturing, packaging, fulfillment, and launched it as the first product under Goofball, my independent design brand.
The clock combines laser-cut acrylic faces, custom 3D-printed components, off-the-shelf clock mechanisms, magnets, and custom hardware into a compact, freestanding wall-mounted object. Rather than hiding its construction, the design makes the relationship between the two clock faces and the central structural elements part of its visual identity.
They grow up so fast
What began as an independent product-design experiment became a real consumer product and the foundation for Goofball. Across its first four editions, Perch Clock generated multiple releases selling through quickly—including 40 units in roughly 10 minutes and a 97-unit preorder. More than 400 clocks have been sold or produced across the initial editions, with the product reaching customers internationally.
The project has also received editorial recognition. Beyond the object itself, Perch became a practical exercise in taking a product from concept through prototyping, pricing, manufacturing, supply-chain management, packaging, e-commerce, international fulfillment, and brand development.
